BATIK TEXTILES

Gorgeous patterns are drawn onto fabrics and then with melted wax dyed to create a pattern.  The magic of the batik process is that the wax marks resist the color when they are dipped into the dye. How gorgeous do the textiles become when they are drenched in natural color, leaving behind the craftsmanship of the artisan who made it.
